Transfer Students

transfer student and professor

Florida Memorial University welcomes hundreds of students from other institutions annually. Whatever your reason for transferring to FMU, you’ll find lots of students like yourself on campus.

Transfer applicants are students who have completed academic studies at another college or university after graduating from high school. Second degree applicants are students who have already received an undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree from FMU or another college/university. FMU will accept up to 60 transferable credit hours. Transferrable credits are those completed at a regionally accredited Collee or University with a minimum grade of C or higher. This also includes courses taken during high school via dual enrollment.

There are two categories of transfer students:

  • Transfer students with 24 or more earned credits.
  • Transfer students with less than 24 earned credits.
