Welcome to Florida Memorial University’s Continuing Education and Professional Studies Center in Miami Gardens, Florida.
We offer a broad range of workforce-aligned and continuing education courses designed to support career advancement, professional development, and lifelong learning. All courses are delivered fully online, providing flexible access for working adults and busy professionals.
Our programs focus on in-demand fields such as healthcare, business, information technology, leadership, and project management. Courses are led by experienced instructors, including industry professionals and nationally recognized experts.

Because quality learning can take many forms, FMU’s CLEO pathway will evaluate your experience outside the classroom for college credit. Your certifications, corporate or military training, continuing education, on-the-job experience, and volunteer work can potentially earn you college credit at Florida Memorial University. At FMU, your experience can count for credit through our CLEO program. You can earn up to 30 undergraduate credit hours OR 9 graduate credit hours.
Our master classes provide opportunities to learn from experts and innovators in various fields and industries.
Our continuing education courses offer at least 10 contact hours of participation in an organized collaborative experience with industry experts.
Explore and develop your talent, imagination, and creativity through diverse courses, including visual and performing arts, health and fitness, sports, cooking, and creative writing.
Our workforce certificates provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed for advancement or entry into the workforce. Our courses are designed for adults seeking to upskill, reskill or find a new career path.

All of our courses are led by expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors. Our online courses are affordable, fun, fast, convenient, and geared just for you.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing (via email) 5 business days prior to the first day of class. Cancelled courses will result in a 100% refund, including the registration fee. There are no refunds given after the class has begun.
Credit card refunds are credited to the card used to register. Money order and bank certified check payments are refunded via a check mailed 4-6 weeks after a course withdrawal or cancellation.
Students enrolled in certificate programs are issued FMU photo ID cards. Continuing and Professional Studies students, partners, and community members enrolled in workshops, seminars, and individual courses must present a registration receipt and a state ID to enter any campus building.
Course and program information will be posted on the CEPS webpage. Books and other course materials are not included in the cost of a course (with some exceptions). Participants are expected to bring and/or have the required textbooks/materials for the first day of class.
