Institutional Values

The Center for Teaching and Learning advances Florida Memorial University’s institutional values by creating opportunities for faculty to translate these commitments into meaningful teaching, learning, scholarship, and service.

Through faculty development, collaborative learning, reflective practice, instructional innovation, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, the CTL supports faculty in cultivating learning environments that demonstrate leadership, strengthen character, promote accountability, advance scholarship, and extend service to our students, University, and broader community. These values provide an important foundation for our shared commitment to teaching excellence and student success.
