How to Apply for Housing

New to Housing

Housing availability is limited. It is important to be fully admitted, pay the $200 admissions enrollment deposit, and pay the deposits to be eligible for a room assignment.

New students will be required to pay a $250.00 non-refundable housing deposit and submit a Housing Application. The application can be accessed in the MYFMU portal, under residence life. After the application is completed, students will receive a time slot to select their room.

Returning Students

Housing availability is limited; it is important to be fully registered, pay the deposit, submit a housing application and then pick your room during your assigned timeslot. Timeslots will be emailed.

Returning students will be required to pay a $250.00 non-refundable housing deposit and submit a Housing Application. The application can be accessed in the MYFMU portal, under residence life.

Fall 2023 Move in Information

First Year move in is scheduled for August 17, 2023, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., specific move in timeslots will be emailed.

Upper-class move in is scheduled for August 18, 2023, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., specific move in timeslots will be emailed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All students must be cleared before they can move in.

Athletic move in schedule: Athletes, please check with your coaches.
